    This solution is all about inclusiveness the solution is based on all the different characteristics of the area.     This alternative is focused on room for the river. Giving space to the river will result in less frequent flooding not only for this area but also areas further upstream and downstream. Giving room to the river places the levees further inland closer to the village. Lees meer over Alternative 2

    This alternative aims to leave as much as possible in contact on the current situation. Therefore upstream and downstream of the village a side channel will be constructed to lower the water levels in flood events. The side channels also contribute to nature development.
